Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy

Ozone Therapies

Ozone (O3), is an energized form of oxygen that contains three oxygen atoms instead of just two, like the oxygen we breathe. Ozone is the second most powerful sterilizer in the world and is used to destroy bacteria, viruses, fungi, and odors. Ozone occurs readily in nature and is most often created as a result of lightning strikes. The clean, fresh, spring rain smell after a storm is actually a result of the creation of ozone. The ozone layer in the Earth’s stratosphere has very high concentrations of ozone. The ozone layer protects the Earth from ultraviolet radiation, which is damaging to living things.

Balance. Energize. Heal.

Ozone Therapy Treatments

Ozone Bagging

What is Limb Bagging?

Limb bagging involves the direct application of topical ozone gas to a specific area of the skin. This method entails encasing a limb, such as an arm or leg, within a plastic bag, which is then infused with ozone gas through a small opening.

What is Limb Bagging?

Limb bagging involves the direct application of topical ozone gas to a specific area of the skin. This method entails encasing a limb, such as an arm or leg, within a plastic bag, which is then infused with ozone gas through a small opening.

How does limb bagging work?

Utilizing a transparent PVC bag or any plastic bag, air is evacuated and the bag is sealed at both ends. Ozone gas is introduced into one end while another tube facilitates the evacuation of gas through a charcoal filter to prevent ozone from escaping. Varying levels of ozone (gamma) are recommended based on whether disinfection or tissue reconstruction is desired.

What conditions benefit from Limb Bagging Ozone?

Limb bagging ozone therapy is beneficial for treating various topical infections, including:

Clinical research indicates that ozone’s antimicrobial properties are particularly effective in addressing skin and nail infections. Ozone treatment has demonstrated superior efficacy compared to standard medical interventions, showing significant improvements in fungal nail infections and skin ulcers.

Direct Intravenous Ozone (DIV)

What is DIV?

DIV stands for the direct intravenous injection of ozone/oxygen gas. It is a powerful form of ozone therapy performed by multiple healthcare providers and home users all over the world.

Is DIV safe?

DIV is safe when used under the right conditions. If proper safety measures aren’t in place, then side effects can occur. This is why we start low and slow. We start off at a low concentration and low volume, and work up as tolerated. DIV is also given over multiple minutes to reduce side effects.

Direct Intravenous Ozone DIV

What are the benefits of DIV?

  • Weakens and destroys the cell walls of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and yeast
  • Increase cell oxygenation
  • Modulates the immune system
  • Stimulates the body to make an abundance of natural stem cells
  • Helps the body with detoxification
  • Pain relief
  • Reduces inflammation
  • Repairs broken cells
  • Healthier skin
  • Increases cellular energy and metabolism
  • May help with insomnia
  • Increases blood circulation
  • Enhance athletic performance
  • Anti-aging
  • Hair and nails grow faster, stronger and longer

What are the side effects?

Side effects are easily avoidable by starting low and slow, and administering DIV slowly and correctly. Some side effects that can occur are bruising, pain from ozone into the tissue rather than the blood vessel, headaches, and a cough.

How many treatments are needed?

The number of treatments will differ according to the condition being treated, whether chronic versus acute, and upon individual patient needs as determined by the physician.  A personalized treatment plan will be discussed during your initial consultation.

General Ozone Therapy Questions:

Ozone is extremely reactive and readily attaches itself to other molecules. When contaminants (bacteria, viruses, etc…) make contact with ozone, it creates a hole in their cell wall and kills the cell. This process is called “oxidation” and once used ozone reverts into oxygen, making it a very environmentally friendly oxidant.

Ozone is safe when used under the right conditions. If proper safety measures aren’t in place, then high concentrations of ozone in the air can cause health problems. If you start to cough when around ozone, then there is too much ozone in the air, and you should remove yourself from the room or properly ventilate while fixing the cause of ozone in the air. It takes an extended period at very elevated levels to cause lung irritation.

Ozone can be administered to the body through multiple methods. It can be combined with blood or other liquids, or injected intravenously, subcutaneously, intramuscularly and intra-articular (joints). It also can be applied through various routes including rectally, vaginally, via ears/nose, and more! It can also be applied topically via limb bagging, or with ozonated water and oils. Depending on how ozone is applied it will treat systemically, locally or both. Systemic treatments benefit the whole body and local treatment treat a specific area.

There are two methods to create ozone: ultraviolet (UV) and corona discharge. Corona discharge is when energy is introduced to oxygen which causes the oxygen to split into two individual oxygen atoms which then fuse with two other oxygen molecules, creating two O3 molecules.

The number of treatments will differ according to the condition being treated, whether chronic versus acute, and upon individual patient needs as determined by the physician.  A personalized treatment plan will be discussed during your initial consultation.

Ozone (O3) therapy has been used and extensively studied for many decades. Medical O3, has been used to treat diseases and has been around for over 150 years. Ozone is known to treat as many as 114 diseases. During the First World War (1914-18) doctors familiar with O3’s properties, and with few other medical resources available to them, applied it topically to infected wounds and discovered O3 not only remedied infection but also had hemodynamic and anti-inflammatory properties.

In the late 1980s, reports emerged that German physicians were successfully treating HIV patients with O3 Autohemotherapy (AHT). There was then no pharmaceutical treatment for HIV and a pandemic was feared, so Canadian authorities authorized the study to test the safety and efficacy of O3 AHT in AIDS patients. Many great research studies can be found on the treatment efficacy of Ozone. Many medical personnel are using Ozone for treatment and gaining excellent results. Ozone is used in a variety of ways. Also, it should be mentioned you do not have to have a disease to be treated with Ozone as this therapy has shown to have great results in athletes, anti-aging, and just overall prevention of disease.

Ozone Water is drinking water or water that can be used to clean wounds, that is sanitized and has dissolved ozone. Ozone kills bacteria, viruses, parasites, and fungus. Ozonated water also has multiple health benefits. Due to ozones short half life, ozone water should be consumed within 30 minutes.

What are the benefits of ozone water?

  • Prevents tooth decay and helps sterilize the mouth
  • Reduces bad breath
  • Weakens and destroys the cell walls of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and yeast
  • May have anticancer properties
  • Helps with detoxification
  • Helps soothe an irritated throat
  • Reduces inflammation
  • Improves gut health
  • Helps remove pesticides from vegetables and fruit
  • Cleanses and disinfects wounds, while promoting tissue healing
  • Many patients report a boost of energy after drinking ozone water
